Hello all! This is a blog that will closely examining the recent Macedonian performances in the Eurovision Song Contest, and connections those performances either have or are lacking to the national state of the country. As Macedonia is still a newer country trying to find a name and a place among international nations, the face that it creates for itself at international events like the Eurovision Song Contest are very important and in part define how some parts of the world will see Macedonia in these coming years. I will be looking at the face that Macedonia is aiming to create for itself, and comparing that to the face it is giving itself in the competition after analyzing each component separately.
